Our First Public Event

On Friday October 11th 2024, NELCA was invited to attend the I Care Careers Event, the first public appearance for the association.

The event was developed to support local students to become the next generation of health & social care employees and to inspire them onto their future career pathway. As one of the market place stall holders, we had the opportunity to engage with the many students who came to visit, getting to know about their career aspirations and answer questions they had on what a career in adult social care might look like.

The day was a great success, it was an exciting opportunity for the association to meet our future generation of social care employees, as well as meeting other providers and social care representatives and organisations.
